The Trade Marketing Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing trade marketing strategies to drive brand performance, increase market share, and optimize retail execution. This role involves close collaboration with sales, marketing, and retail partners to ensure effective product positioning, promotional campaigns, and shopper engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement trade marketing strategies to support sales and brand growth.
- Plan and execute promotional activities, in-store activations, and campaigns to drive product visibility and sell-through.
- Analise market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
- Manage relationships with retail partners, distributors, and key stakeholders to optimize trade marketing initiatives.
- Ensure brand consistency across all trade marketing materials and retail channels.
- Track and analyse the effectiveness of trade marketing campaigns and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Work closely with the sales team to develop customized trade promotions and incentives for key accounts.
- Oversee the production and distribution of point-of-sale (POS) materials, merchandising tools, and other promotional assets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align trade marketing efforts with overall brand and business objectives.
- Monitor and manage trade marketing budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and ROI.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in trade marketing, preferably within the wellness, FMCG, or retail sector.
- Strong knowledge of trade marketing strategies, retail execution, and shopper marketing.
- Experience in working with retailers, distributors, and sales teams.
- Proficiency in market analysis, data interpretation, and sales forecasting.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Creative mindset with a strategic approach to marketing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and trade marketing software/tools.
- Knowledge of the Abu Dhabi and UAE retail market is a plus.
